Struktur

This had to be factored into the concept as I was put in charge of the design & renovation of our new digs. It had to be a functioning office and a showroom where we could demonstrate various products and features to our clients.

AV & IT had to be cleverly considered and designed into the spaces, along with specialty lighting, for maximum flexibility. I opted for an entry into a large open space with a new, totally white Corian kitchen, a lounge, a dining area and a hot desk bar. The original parquet flooring was restored and given a new life, together with some original hardware details.

Greenery took centre stage with custom planters atop storage units in the office's open plan. They worked as space dividers, air purifiers and acoustic elements all in one.

I chose black workstations with Forbo desktops in charcoal with brightly coloured details added to match the Struktur brand. The crowning glory was custom-designed “advertising graphics” foiled onto the large arched street-facing windows, showing Struktur’s areas of expertise.
