Throughout this internship I was encouraged to take part in all aspects of the design and construction process. We designed and installed one of the largest exhibitions of Leonardo Da Vinci’s paintings, sketches and models, a great deal of which had never previously been exhibited. The Exhibition was widely acclaimed & subsequently travelled the world.

Shameless Creative is a multi-disciplinary creative company started in 2008 by Johanna Olsen.  At the forefront is Interior Architecture and Design, supported by creative components such as Master Planning, Environmental Branding and Photography. Completed projects include: Victoria Park, Malmö – communal spaces e.g. restaurant, bar, delicatessen, lounge, library, toilets; Brand Design Center, Malmö – new showroom; Hälsostudion/ Karlsrobadet, Eslöv – entry, café, lounge, information centre, artwork & acoustics; Restaurant Bastard, Malmö; Lake View, Åre – ski resort timber lodges.

I was a Senior Designer running projects and overseeing a team of Designers. Project tasks included: Client briefing and gathering of information to produce a Master Plan document, Client Change Management, Site surveying, Council submissions, Concept design & Space planning, AutoCAD documentation, finishes & product sourcing to bring concept & ideas together to a functioning design, designing details & furniture to enhance the conceptual idea as a whole, graphic design & branding, liaising with contractors, consultants & product representatives.

 

I have in the last few years built on my photography skills and had the opportunity to photograph some projects upon completion.

I worked as an Interior Designer on The Hilton Hotel, Fiji, Publicis Mojo, Auckland & Animal Logic, Sydney. I was involved in Space planning, Documentation & Design using AutoCAD, Photoshop etc, Design concept and detail & furniture design as well as extensive sourcing of finishes & products.

Creative firm in the heart of Sydney with focus mainly on retail, hospitality and commercial design.

 

Design concept, 2d and 3d communication on a mixture of retail, corporate & hospitality projects. Complete design documentation using AutoCAD, concept presentation, client management, site survey & measured drawings, office admin & management, creating fee proposals, finishes & product sourcing. I liaised in team work as well as single handed project management. I was responsible for running every aspect of a project from conceptual idea to finished construction, whilst co-ordinating with clients, contractors, consultants, council & product representatives.

‘Interior Communication’, ‘Identity & Space’ - BA Interior Design

 

Teaching model making, architectural drawing, presentation/rendering techniques, conceptualising & design development to classes of 20+ students. Responsible for the layout of the course work & the teaching. Grading of all students at the completion of projects followed by performance reviews.

Documenting on AutoCAD 2000/Architectural Desktop 3.3. with focus on hospitality and high end property development. Creating concepts and implementing design ideas & solutions. Assisting with the company’s stand at the annual Gaming Show at the Convention Centre, Darling Harbour.

Cruise Ship Manager on board luxury banqueting boats on the Thames (max capacity 500 guests). Co-ordinating, designing and running events on all the company’s boats. Liaising with the crew on safety and the kitchen on food & running times. Organising of all waiting and bar staff and responsible for recruiting of new staff. In charge of the weekly staff rotas.

COMPUTER LITERACY

 

 

I am highly computer literate and can operate both PC and Mac. I have an extensive knowledge of the Internet, and expert knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Premiere, Media 100, D-Vision, 3D Studio and basic skills in Form Z, Illustrator, Director and Corel Draw. I am constantly motivated to build on my knowledge. I am currently enhancing my knowledge of Google Sketch-up to support my design schemes to enhance visualisation for the client. I am also building on my photography skills, which involves e.g. computer editing of RAW files.
